BLOOM – The Next Generation Runway

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to registrations, auditions, participation, purchases, and use of the BLOOM – The Next Generation Runway (“BLOOM”) website and related services.
By submitting a registration, making a payment, or participating in a BLOOM activity, the participant and, where applicable, the participant's parent or legal guardian acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
Eligibility and Parent/Guardian Authorization
BLOOM is a youth-focused fashion and runway event.
Participants under the age of majority must have the authorization of a parent or legal guardian to register, audition, make payments, and participate.
The parent or guardian completing a registration is responsible for ensuring that the information submitted is accurate and that they have authority to provide consent on behalf of the minor participant.
Audition Registration
Submission of an audition registration does not guarantee selection or participation in BLOOM.
Participants are selected based on casting requirements, designer requirements, event capacity, scheduling, and the creative direction of BLOOM.
Previous modeling or runway experience is not required unless otherwise stated.
Registration and Audition Fees
Any audition or registration fee displayed at the time of registration must be paid in order to complete the registration.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, registration and audition fees are non-refundable, including where a participant is not selected following an audition.
Applicable taxes may be added to fees.
Selection and Participation
Participants who are selected for BLOOM may be offered a participation package.
Selection following an audition does not automatically complete enrollment. A participant's place may only be considered secured once required forms, agreements, deposits, and/or participation payments have been received by the applicable deadlines.
Participation Fees and Payment Schedule
Selected participants may be required to pay a participation fee or package fee.
Where a deposit and subsequent payment are required, the payment schedule communicated by BLOOM must be followed.
Failure to submit required payments or documentation by the stated deadline may result in the participant's place being released.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, payments and deposits are non-refundable.
Participant Withdrawal
If a participant chooses to withdraw after registration, selection, or confirmation, fees already paid are generally non-refundable.
This includes withdrawal due to scheduling conflicts, travel issues, change of mind, illness, inability to attend, or other personal circumstances, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed to by BLOOM in writing.
Event Changes
Fashion and live events may require changes to schedules, designers, programming, locations, rehearsal times, production elements, or other details.
BLOOM reserves the right to make reasonable changes where necessary.
BLOOM does not guarantee participation with a particular designer, specific outfit, runway position, photographer, or other individual event element.
Event Cancellation or Postponement
If BLOOM must postpone, reschedule, relocate, or materially modify an event due to circumstances outside its reasonable control, registrations and participation may be transferred to the rescheduled or modified event where reasonably possible.
Any refund or credit obligations will be determined according to applicable law and the specific circumstances of the cancellation or change.
Travel and Accommodation
Unless expressly included in a purchased package, participants and their families are responsible for their own transportation, accommodation, meals, travel documentation, and related expenses.
BLOOM is not responsible for travel expenses resulting from event changes, participant withdrawal, missed transportation, or other circumstances outside BLOOM's reasonable control.
Rehearsals, Fittings and Event Requirements
Selected participants may be required to attend scheduled rehearsals, fittings, workshops, check-ins, or other event activities.
Participants and parents/guardians are responsible for arriving on time and following instructions provided by the BLOOM production team.
Failure to attend required activities may affect a participant's ability to participate in the runway event.
Conduct
BLOOM is committed to providing a professional, respectful, safe, and positive environment for youth participants, families, designers, staff, volunteers, and guests.
BLOOM reserves the right to remove a participant or guest for behaviour that is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or seriously interferes with the event or the experience of others.
Photography, Video and Media
BLOOM events and related activities may be professionally photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded.
Specific permissions regarding the use of a participant's image, likeness, photographs, or video may be included in registration documents, participation agreements, or separate media releases.
Participation in BLOOM does not automatically transfer ownership of professional photographs or video to the participant.
Personal Belongings
Participants and guests are responsible for their own clothing, equipment, electronics, valuables, and personal belongings.
BLOOM is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Health and Safety
Parents and guardians are responsible for providing relevant information reasonably necessary for the safe participation of their child and for determining whether the participant is physically able to take part in event activities.
Participants must follow reasonable safety instructions provided by BLOOM, the venue, production staff, and authorized event personnel.
Website and Information
BLOOM makes reasonable efforts to keep information on its website accurate and current. However, event information may change as production develops.
Information communicated directly to confirmed participants may supersede general information appearing on the website.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BLOOM will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from participation in or inability to participate in an event.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with the BLOOM Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
Changes to These Terms
BLOOM may update these Terms periodically. The version posted on the website at the applicable time will contain the current terms.
